This rate is about the movie "Cyberbully".
The film follows the life of 17-year-old high-school student Taylor Hillridge (Emily Osment). When she turns 17 she gets a laptop from her mother for her birthday, with strict instructions not to go on anything inappropriate. She and her friends Samantha Caldone (Kay Panabaker) and Cheyenne Mortenson (Meaghan Rath) immediately sign her up for a social networking site that all the students in her high school are on - including Lindsay Fordyce (Nastassia Markiewicz), the school bully.
Things start to go wrong when Taylor's brother Eric (Robert Naylor) hacks into her profile and posts a rude message, gaining many responses from boys. Lindsay and her posse immediately begin trashing Taylor online and she becomes afraid to attend school and face her classmates. Slowly her friends begin to desert her and the abuse Taylor is suffering from pushes her to breaking point. Taylor posts a video online telling her schoolmates that she is "done" and then tries to overdose with pills, but Samantha arrives in the nick of time while Taylor is trying to get the cap off. She is sent to a support group that helps her immensely, and her mother takes action to enforce a law against cyberbullying in their state. Taylor and Samantha stand up to Lindsay, along with some of the other students and the social networking site is safe to go on again.
This show is so realistic and brilliantly plotted - one of the only movies I've ever cried at.

The First Rate - Friends (5)
Right, so who hasn't seen the TV show Friends? If you haven't, here's what it's about:
OK, so there are these 6 friends called Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Joey Tribbiani (Matt Le Blanc), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) and Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) who live near each other - Chandler and Joey live together, and so do Rachel and Monica.
Quick character sypnosis: Ross = socially awkward and becomes jealous and paranoid during relationships. Rachel = fashion enthusiast, Monica's best friend, waitress at a coffee shop called Central Perk that the friends frequently visit. Monica = a bossy perfectionist, was extremely overweight as a child, marries Chandler at the end of season seven. Joey = a struggling actor and food lover, has many short-term girlfriends, favours the phrase "How you doin'?" Chandler = known for his sarcastic sense of humour and bad luck in relationships, feels the need to break an awkward silence with a joke, works as a copywriter. Phoebe = eccentric masseuse and self-taught musician, ditsy but sweet, writes and sings her own songs (badly), has an evil twin named Ursula.
The reason that I have given this show five stars is because it is so original and still lives on despite how old it is; created in 1994, and the line of series ended in 2004. However, it is still aired on Comedy Central often.
The characters are eccentric - personally, my favourite boy is Chandler and favourite girl is Phoebe. Each episode name begins with "The One With-", which is cute.
I hope this show lives on way past its years and that the people of the future won't be too disappointed if it is still being aired!
How We Work
Hola! :')
This is Rated. and I'm going to explain how we work. What we do here is pick random things - a TV show, a product, a film, anything! - and we rate it. Simple as, huh?
Before you ask, no, this is not one of those websites like ratedpeople.com or whatever it's called. >.<
Okay, thanks for visiting! New posts soon.
Peace!
